Upper Great Lakes Vascular is under the direction of Dr. Joel Johnson. Dr. Joel Johnson received his medical degree from the Medical College of Wisconsin and completed his General Surgery residency at Gundersen Clinic in LaCrosse, Wisconsin. Dr. Johnson also completed a Cardiothoracic Surgery residency at the University of Missouri in Columbia. He is certified by the American Board of Surgery and the American Board of Thoracic Surgery. He is also a Fellow of the American Society of Angiology, the American College of Surgeons and the American College of Chest Physicians. Dr. Johnson’s areas of expertise include thoracic surgical oncology and the treatment of peripheral vascular disease with emphasis on limb salvage.
